We went to Plas Teg today - really liked it. Didn't feel anything though (only how cold it was). The guide was very good and told us a lot of the history - looking forward to going on the ghost tour soon. Going back in a couple of weeks with my daughter.

I went to Plas Teg in November 2008 and I took a picture with my mobile in the main hall and in the photograph there is a girl stood by the fireplace clear as day wearing some old fashioned clothes. There was no one there when I took the picture, no flash was used as the lights were on. This was taken at the end of the night before I was about to leave with the thought in my mind that I simply hadn't seen enough to believe. Well that picture has opened my eyes and I have no doubts at all that they exist and could not believe how naive I had been.

I went to Plas Teg recently and had an amazing night. I experienced a ghost called Roger, he was a miner from many a year ago, and he was killed in a mining incident. Very nice chap, recommend trying to find this one when you're there. All the other ghosts are pretty short tempered and abusive.

So sad to see that another paranormal team has left Plas Teg. I was looking forward to another vigil as I have been on a paranormal night twice before with them. Can anyone tell me where uk-paranormal have gone?

Went to Plas Teg the other Friday, had a great time. We were met at the car park by Roy who was really nice. He took us up to the house and we chatted with him about the ghosts there and the work he does there helping out. It was well worth going, keep up the good work Roy.

Well, Plas Teg - what to say about it? I help spirits find peace and start their journey - IF they are ready. It may take some time as any counselling session, but Plas Teg and other places like it use these people in spirit to lure people in for money. If you were in pain and lost would you like someone to pay to see it? It is so easy to believe these souls have no feelings any more. I watch it on programmes like this Most Haunted - no respect, it's sad. I refuse to watch any more. People who gain from others' suffering are the worst kind of person. I wait for the day this type of 'thrill' stops.

I took my family to Plas Teg last week - Sunday day time - my family learnt so much from the lovely tour guide Jill taking us around the house - it was well worth the £7 each, we were truly entertained for the afternoon!

Great night! I went to Farfield in Deeside - they have great ghost nighs. I was a bit scared in Plas Teg. I think the lady who owns the house should meet people when they arrive! I never saw her when I went. Would go again!

Hiya all, that's me on the left hand side (male - Tom). This photo was taken about 3 1/2 years the guide was a lady called Rose - I got some amazing photos that evening. Love the place, just visited on Sunday 7 Sept.

In answer to Matthew of Liverpool.I have visited Plas Teg several times on a night vigil. It starts at 9pm but it's advised you get there earlier to park. If you book through Cornelia (The Owner) she will require a £20 non-refundable deposit and balance of £20 on the night. Alternatively you can book via one of the two paranormal teams. (May I stress that I am not a member!) The night includes:-
The night starts with a quick tour of the rooms which will help you to get your bearings.
Tea/Coffee and biscuit break(s)
Vigils in various rooms.
Table tilting (if the spirits wish to participate) and glass on table (this is not ouija board and you do not have to join in if you don't feel comfortable with it.)
All in all an enjoyable evening.

My late father was bought up around Plas Teg and I remember him telling me as a child his parents forbade him to play anywhere near the place. Incidentally, it was a hospital for wounded soldiers in WW1.

Nice photo Paul however I'm not convinced and do not know how you can say it is the real thing without proof. Just a shame that all these anomolies are always so close to the lens and out of focus. I'm sure if you set up cameras facing each other it would only be captured on one image.

if you would like to see a picture of a real ghost - taken at Plas Teg look at www.paradoxelectronics.com, I am interested in comments. This is the real thing, it is what Most Haunted cannot produce.

I have been on several afternoon tours with friends of mine, I do this so they will see how beautiful the house is and to try and break them in for a night of vigils. After a day tour this usually works, there is something about Plas Teg that draws you back there time and time again. I think Cornelia is doing a sterling job, because she opens her home to people she is able to pay for vital work which must be carried out on the house to get it back to its former glory. She has put a lot of her life's energy into this project and I know it is her passion and she won't be deterred from the mission that she has. She has lots of people with the same passion as herself who use their time to help out in the house, cleaning and repairing etc. Plas Teg has a fantastic history and whenever I go for a night vigil I feel honoured to be able to go there and experience the past spirits of people who were associated with it, also I have experienced spirits who are not associated with the house, they are just visiting. I have some fantastic photos from there, including a little boy coming from behind a statue on the landing, the same little boy looking through a window above the front door. I have a picture of a hooded monk outside by the entrances gate and some absolutely fantastic orbs, one which is iridescent blue and some with faces in. I have worked on the mirror, I have done table tipping to name a few. I have some fantastic video of orbs coming from the harp and shooting through the room and dozens of orbs spiralling across the room. I think I have only ever had one quiet night there but that has never put me off going. I know it is a lot of money to do the night vigils but I would rather spend my money doing that than waste it on other things. I have met some lovely people there, living and in spirit, and I would recommend that anyone reading this will go and visit Plas Teg at least once, put it on your bucket list.

Visited Plas Teg on March 1 2008 on the night tour, 9pm til 3am. It was a really good night - a lot happened in my group. The first room was the Indian room and I experienced a tap on my shoulder. Hard to believe but made me cry as the shock of this happening. The ouija board was good as I got to speak to my close friend who I lost in October. It was a very special momment for me. A lot of orbs were caught on the camera. Many people don't believe in this but don't knock it til you have visited this experience.

Visited Plas Teg this morning, gorgeous place, hope to go again for a paranormal night. Although nothing happened while I was there, other than feeling teary eyed in the twin room (and my mum said her throat was sore in the hanging room) my nan has seen the white lady on the road outside. According to her, a few years ago she was driving with my grandad and my uncles when some woman in white ran out in front of their car and carried on crossing the road while they stared at her. She was out in her nightie apparently. Very weird.

Me and some friends go on drives some nights and for the past two times have decided to drive past this house. Very creepy indeed, especially as you just come off the main straight of road and come to the tight bends in the trees before the next village (on the way to Mold). We're hoping to book a tour/ghost hunt there soon.

After a visit to Plas Teg recently I'm not sure what to think. Sat 2nd I arrived for an evening ghost hunt. I was most disappointed to see oujia board being used during evening by the medium present. People ended up walking out part way through. Does anyone know if any other events are held at Plas Teg and are they open to public joining them?

I went to Plas Teg last Sunday. I liked it very much. While on the tour the lights started to flicker! Later on the tour I saw a flash of light near a door. I thought it might be a sensor so I had a look but nothing was there. I will be going back there to do a ghost hunt with friends. I think it's great!

To Paula from Wrexham, you say you were disappointed at going & not feeling anything. Spirits & ghosts do not work as & when required. They don't come to put on a show for you because you are there. If something happens it happens you cannot determine when & where this will be. If I attended a visit or a hunt where nothing happened I would be more inclined to believe this was real than if lots of things were happening. So don't be disappointed, leave your mind open & keep visiting these places, you never know it may happen when you least expect it!

Okay guys, I think I read about one actual rational and sensible comment on this page. Sorry to disappoint but the Ouija Board doesn't actually let you talk to dead people. Go watch or read some Derren Brown and you'll see how it's all just tricks of the mind.

I am a police officer based closed to Plas Teg and I am aware of a few occasions where people have 'hit' a figure outside Plas Teg in their car. Also, the police helicopter has been called out more than once to search for a person hit but nothing has been found.

I have driven past Plas Teg on many occasions over the years. I have always thought how spooky and creepy it looks until I went for a tour around the building. I felt nothing not even in the haunted bedroom. I was left very disappointed.

I went to Plas Teg on the 15th December 9 til 3 in the morning and what a cracking night and all I can say is that until you do something like this you won't belive what goes on in that place. Lots of things happened on the weegee board and now I have been there and done it I would actually like to get more involved. You have to do something like it to believe it 'cause it is real and if people say it's rubbish then try it yourself.

In reply to Ian of North Wales, I quite agree with you on many of the points you have made Ian. Plas Teg is rich in history and Cornelia has done a wondeful job restoring it. The Plas Teg helpers of which you were refering to do a sterling job with the history tours on Sunday afternoons at Plas Teg. Regarding the 'ghosts' of Plas Teg, UK-Paranormal would be delighted for you to attend one of our evening investigations at Plas Teg as you take your 'ghost hunting' as seriously as we do. It would be a pleasure to have someone like yourself investigating alongside us.

Not worth a visit if you take your ghost hunting seriously. We went to have a tour expecting to hear about the history of the house & its ghosts & spirits that may be there, had a tour from the "Plas Teg volunteers" which ended up with then jumping out of places trying to scare us & playing tricks on each other. I love the place I think it has a lot of history & is a very intriguing place, but was very disappointed by the silliness of the staff. I think Cornelia has done an amazing job of keeping the place in the marvellous condition it is in now, but I don't believe money should be taken from people who have a genuine interest in the paranormal if the "volunteers" just make a joke of it.

I have just purchased a new edition of the Plas Teg book by Mark Baker which states that the ghost who walks across the A541 is in fact a prehistoric burial which was disturbed during the 1820s when the new road from Mold to Wrexham was expanded. He also addresses Judge Jeffries and Plas Teg in the second edition. I bought mine from Waterstones in Wrexham.

One night whilst I was driving to Wrexham with my father I was passing Plas Teg when we drove through some mist. As we drove through it there was a white shape of a woman. We hit it on the left side of the car. I stopped the car and we looked for ages but couldn't find anything. The mist cleared we saw the white shape disappear down to bottom of the field. When I asked at the next pub, they laughed and said about the young girl that used to live in the big house. She was going to elope with a farm boy. On the night they were going to elope she fell down the well trying to retrieve some hidden jewellery. She drowned and haunts the path to the well which nows crosses the main road.

I watched some of the Most Haunted Live programme at Plas Teg. Didn't realise that Yvette [knock once for yes and twice for no] could talk to the dead too. She was on a roll, actually taking over from the medium at one point. It seemed so easy for them to get the spirits to respond, almost as if the spooks were really eager to get on the telly. I've been around the house a few times and didn't have any of the creepy experiences they had. Maybe it had something to do with Halloween. What did you think of the show at Plas Teg?

I watched Most Haunted at Plas Teg last night and I thought it was mint. I want to go in and hunt for ghosts or spirits and contact people from beyong the grave, out of the body etc... with Yvette and Derek Acora (the medium). Don't get scared when you go ghost hunting because they cannot harm you!

Hi, I have just this week attended one of UK-Paranormal's events and wish to say many thanks to UK-Paranormal for a fantastic Hallowe'en evening they held at this fabulous house, my friends and I were in awe of the whole experience. A very creepy house indeed in the dark! The ghost tour was fascinating and the seances and experiments were extremely interesting. I hope to book us in again on our next visit to Wales!
