I have lived in this house for five years and from the onset my youngest child would wake up screaming saying there was a child with no face standing by the window every night.
He would wake up screaming saying the same thing until one night I went in to check on him because he had not done his usual screaming fit. I found him standing on the window ledge trying to get out of the window.
When asked what he was doing he replied that he was going to play with the no-faced little boy. 'He's waiting for me out there', he said.
After that incident I moved him into the play room. Can you blame me? Recently, myself and three neighbours have been experiencing front doors opening, footsteps in the hall to the kitchen, all the kitchen cupboards slamming. Then the back door slams. All my cupboards have child locks on. My sister has taken photos within the house. I'm standing in the front room and it looks like I'm standing in a rain shower of ghost orbs.
This house is growing on me but I would like to know if there is anyone who could help me with it as it is starting to get the kids down as it's just started taking the kids' things and hiding them.

Tracy in Flint, some houses do seem to have atmospheres that can affect our moods; it probably just means that you are a sensitive person who is picking up on sadness and upset of people who lived in the house before you did. It's not neccassarily anything spooky - they could be alive and happy and living somewhere else. It's not nice though, especially if you have kids and need to put on a brave face. If you contact a local church or chapel and ask for a clearing, they won't think you're barmy - they do it all the time. Also, lighting candles on corners (safey of course), picking a few wild flowers and dotting them about the place, playing happy music and hanging a crystal in your windows will all make the difference. Jo, I feel the same way all the time. I am fine if I am not in the house but when I am at home I feel so angry and upset wanting to cry all the time. I lose my temper very easily, I don't want to think something is there 'cause things like that freak me out, but every now and then I can feel something is following me. Since I have lived at this address I have suffered from depression. I wake up all hours and sometimes I think I can see things. I do love the house but I wish this feeling would go away. If anyone knows of any reason I am feeling this way, pls say. Oh, and sometimes I think the kids are walking around upstairs and when I look they all asleep.

I live in Romford, Essex, where just lately in my house I saw a ghost in my bedroom walking. I think it was a man called Mr Carter (who died) his wife is still alive (they lived in this house before us). I've never seen any ghosts in my house before!

I think childen are more open to seeing things. The reason I looked at this article is because I have taken photos myself of light orbs on a digital camera. My 5 month old son was babbaling and talking away smiling and giggling so my partner took photos and above him are loads of orbs. My partner cleaned the lens, took another photo and the same thing happened. we then took photos of around the room - nothing, not one orb. We then took photos of ourselves and there are a few orbs around us - weird. He offten smiles and giggles at nothing and reaches out. Since having my son, twice pictures have fallen off the walls at night and have been in the middle of the room. When I was a child me and my brother saw a woman walk through our room, stand at the window and cry. After this my brother would wake up saying he had monsters in his eyes. In the same house my mum went in to labour and went to hospital. I remember my nan who came to look after us freaking out and getting us all into one room as the door knobs were shaking and she had heard footsteps up and down the hallway.

Hey, Very interesting indeed. When we moved from our house in California, we had not 1, not 2, but 9 ghosts in there, AND it was a house that had been built 12 yrs prior! I figure that the house was built on top of a cemetery, old, or grounds where a lot of people died centuries ago. One little ghost, a small dark brown curly haired white boy with about 16 or 17th century boy's clothes on used to run up and down the hall between my bedroom and my daughter's (who was then 1 1/2 to 8 yrs old at this time. When we first moved in, she would sit on the floor and "play" with an unseen child.

Don't worry, I see ghosts all the time. I live in a very old abandoned chapel. I see the ghost at my bedroom door like it's stopping me from going in and out. Once it was so scary I was crying, it was terrifing, but I like ghosts me and my lil bro talk to them and I see bands of light near people's feet (people's under colour).

At Pen-y-Pwyllau residential home, Holywell, I happened to look in the mirror as I was cleaning in the main lounge and I saw a lady sitting on sofa, fully dressed and looked normal. I turned around and she'd gone, it was so quiet as me and my friend were working the night shift at the home. Also, the piano used to play on its own.

I wouldn't worry, they are not orbs. You don't get mass populated orbs in one area and you would see them with your naked eye if they were there. It's probably a faulty develop. To make sure if they are orbs try getting the same picture developed again.... but you never know.

The orbs, as they are described, are found in most pictures due to dust or moisture particles on the lens. I've had many perfect pictures ruined simply due to lack of lens cloth fibres and have lots of pics with the same contamination on.

I bought a property in Flint just over two years ago. Nothing seems to have gone right since. I can drive home from work feeling fine and happy, and as soon as I walk in the door I feel heavy, miserable, depressed, on edge and sometimes angry. What can be causing this? Please no one say mortgage as I only have a small one. Any ideas or anyone know any of the history of the land near the school and the BP garage?

I had a similar thing happen to me when I lived in Prestatyn in a flat. That too was of a child ghost with no face. I saw it long enough to see it was of a girl aged about 6 or 7. This was in 1988 in a house on Victoria Road

There probably is a ghost in your house as in many in Flint as it was a battle ground many years ago as you are close to the castle. Hope you and your children are fine as my sis lives there and has a visit very often from a child as she used to babysit for me and my children always used to say the played with someone too. Hope this has helped you in some way to let you know you're not on your own.

I live in Withington and when I lived in a council house with my mum, dad and my 3 sisters I was only a baby there was a gost called Emily. She used to haunt us and go in my room at night and she loved my sister's room. She didn't do us any harm but my mum said it was scary because when she was doing the washing or anything she would always see her bottom half and never see her face. We thought that maybe she would move with us into our new house but she moved on but my sis looked her up in town and she said that she had died in the manor fire - maybe she moved on to you!

We nave several children or family members who always have those "orbs" in the picture all over them. Such as at a birthday party full of adults and children. The orbs only show around several people in different areas of the house. Something to do with spirits only I'm not gennned up on that one. We also have sudden flashes in the back bedroom. It is our (parents) room. My partner and I see it often, but I take my little ones up at bedtime and even they have seen it. I played it down as the light flashing. The other night i was looking straight into my daughter's eyes and flash, there it goes again. We both saw it/it isn't the light. I had the light in vision one night. I also see small white patches wiggling around on the ceiling. My partner one day said a small man was sitting on the side of the bed as she passed going to the bathroom. I said she should have hurried, he may have wanted a pee! Would like to put more details but got to go but if anybody has any ideas, please let me know and, by the way, there doesn't seem to be any real fear or bad feeling assosiated with these hapenings.
