Scott and Claire Robertson

Scott Robertson Table tennis players in the Paralympics.

Biography:

Scott Robertson has represented his country at three Paralympic Games - in Sydney, Athens - and in Beijing in 2008.

Born in 1976 in Mancot, he's a highly talented singles and doubles player. The right-hander won a bronze in the men's team event at the 2005 European Championships in Italy.

Prior to the Beijing Paralympics, he notched up a hat-trick of silver medals - two came at the Irish Open in the singles and team event in 2008. The third silver was won in the men's team event in Slovenia.

Claire Robertson Scott is married to fellow table tennis player Claire who made her Paralympic debut in Beijing. She has been adding to the trophy cupboard at the couple's home on Deeside.

Claire won silver and brozen in the women's team competitions in the Slovakia Open and Liverpool Open, but neither she or Scott were able to add to their tally at Beijing in the singles. We'll have to wait and see in the doubles...
