Mark Webster

dartboard Darts player Mark won 2008 BDO World Championships but was unable to do the same in 2009.

Born:
12 AUG 1983
Place of Birth:
St Asaph, but lives in Denbigh
Biography:
Mark opted to let his darts speak for his character rather than give himself one of the more colourful nicknames.

And you couldn't do any better than winning the BDO World Professional Championships which he did in 2008.

Up until winning the championship and the £85,000 pot he was only able to play part-time, while studying as a plumber to gain a trade if he never made it in the world of darts.

But that seems unlikely as Mark's darts career has gone from strength to strength with achievements including the 2006 World Darts Federation Europe Cup and making the semi finals of the 2006 Winmau World Masters. He was also World Cup Singles winner in 2007.

Mark has also beaten the best - Phil Tailor.

One thing he has promised and that's to remain loyal to the Denbigh winter darts league.
