Jason and the rest of the Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby team qualified for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games by winning their third consecutive European Championship crown in Espoo, Finland.
But just like Athens, Beijing wasn't to be their games - because now they've twice finished fourth in the Paralympics in the sport descibed as 'chess with violence' and 'murderball'!
British wheelchair rugby, officially set up in the '80s, is a full-blooded, contact sport developed initially for tetraplegics - those whose disabilities affect both their lower and upper limbs - and, so the sport's official website says, offers male and female players significant rehabilitational, health and social benefits as well as gaining athletic achievement.
So, while the time now prepare for London 2012 they'll have to console themselves with being three-time consecutive champions of Europe, having now won in 2008, 2005 and 2003.
