Anglesey walk

Location: Newborough to St Dwynwen's Island.
A description of this walk: A classic coastal walk that will take you through Wales' biggest sand dune system, a national nature reserve and a beautiful beach. It's also officially the most romantic place in Wales.

Last updated: 30 June 2008

Llanddwyn Island is a fantastic place to visit, but it's important to check the tide times.

Luckily, Derek goes with Will Sanderson, a regional reserve manager for the Countryside Council of Wales, who keeps him from being cut off by the sea.

The two walk a short section of the Anglesey coastal path, through Newborough Warren, across Llanddwyn Bay to the island and back again.

Read a description of this walk along with detailed information, maps and images on BBC Local. Why not have a go at this walk yourself?
