Blizzards: No Risk Heavy snow: No Risk Storm force winds: No Risk Gales: High risk - Gusts 55 to 60 mph expected for a time over the highest peaks and ridges. Severe chill effect: Low risk - Feeling cold over the windy peaks and ridges. Persistent extensive hill fog: High risk - Extensive low cloud expected during the morning, lifting and breaking by early afternoon Thunderstorms: Low risk - Small risk of an isolated one in association with any heavier showers. Heavy persistent rain: High risk - A very wet start, but rain turning showery by late morning. OVERVIEW for MONDAY Rain and low cloud clearing by midday, then bright or sunny intervals and blustery showers. FORECAST FOR MONDAY Weather: A dull start with outbreaks of rain or drizzle, heavy at times and accompanied by extensive low cloud. However, this should clear away northeastwards around the middle of the day, then the afternoon should be brighter with a few sunny intervals and some blustery showers, with some of the showers heavy, especially in the west, where they could also be prolonged.

OVERVIEW for MONDAY Rain and extensive low cloud clearing early in the morning, then sunny spells and scattered blustery showers. FORECAST FOR MONDAY Weather: A dull start with outbreaks of rain or drizzle, perhaps heavy at first, accompanied by extensive low cloud. However, this should soon clear away northeastwards, then from mid morning onwards, a fairly bright day with some sunny spells but also scattered blustery showers, with one or two showers being rather heavy.
