A festive site put together by the team who make sure that Talgarth is lit up every Christmas. It includes a diary of Christmassy events as well as a photo gallery of the lights being put up around the town. We particularly like the animated falling snowflakes.

What was the website for Talgarth Tourist Centre has become a one-stop shop for all kinds of information about the town - for both locals and visitors. For the tourist, there are details of places to stay, places to eat, things to do etc. For people who live in the area, the centre offers all sorts of services - from local bus timetables to a Credit Union, computer courses and public access to the internet. Most of the community information is available from the centre in Talgarth itself, rather than online.

Brecon Beacons National Park

The Brecon Beacons is managed by a special National Park Authority which is made up of locally and nationally appointed members. You can find out more here about the authority's areas of responsibility, which include planning permission and a list of applications is available online. The site is also great for visitors with lots of information on activities and accommodation as well as a photo gallery of the area's beauty spots.
