This website focuses on the group that organises the Reggae nights and the Balkan, Klezmer & Gypsy Beats in Aberystwyth. Launched in 2007, the website incorporates future events, photo galleries and other links.

The official Brecon Jazz website is well-designed and has a cool jazz soundtrack. As well as festival information (programme details, booking etc), it also has a discussion board where users can talk about jazz in general or Brecon in particular.

Cambria Arts

As well as finding out about gigs coming up at Tregaron's Talbot Hotel, you can also check out who's played there in the past. The site also contains a short history of Celf Cambria Arts, reviews, copies of the organisations letter and dozens of images of past gigs.

An online maketplace for its Aberystwyth-based shop, Cerdd Ystwyth's site also publishes a really useful local directory of for all things musical - from jazz bands to choirs and piano tuners to uillean pipe makers.

This is a website that is doing a great service to unsigned/pub bands. It lists gigs and helps charities by getting bands to play for free. It showcases bands in a good light and allows them to upload their MP3's as well. This is a good looking website that works.

Gregynog Music Festival is a well established annual festival of classical music. This web page gives you all the details of festival listings and the historical background to the development of the arts at Gregynog Hall near Newtown.
Mid Wales Music Scene

This my space site is being run by Kev who says he wants to help musicians from Mid Wales get gigs, fans and exposure. So while he can't get back to everybody the site offers samples, details of upcoming shows, links to bands (and forms for band to submit their info) as well as album news and comments.

The website has information about concerts and tutors for the band which comprises members from, in the main, Llanfyllin, Llanfair Caereinion, Welshpool, Newtown and Llanidloes High Schools. The website also has a page about the band's history and a guestbook.
Parti Cut Lloi

Parti Cut Lloi is a Welsh-language group from the Banw Valley in Montgomeryshire, who sing traditional folk songs including Plygain. Led by Sian James, they got together originally to compete in the National Eisteddfod of Wales when it was held in Meifod in 2003. Their website is sparse but gives a little background about the group along with a diary of events and contact details.
Presteigne Music Festival

Presteigne hosts an annual Music Festival in August and you can find most of what you need to know on the official website - including programme details, booking information, local accommodation listings and festival news.
The Runway Club

This website promotes a regular music event at Aberystwyth's RAFA club where two bands do battle for the honour of singing Vera Lynn's 'We'll Meet Again - as well as half the night's takings. The site has information about upcoming challenges and information about the venue.
Sheep Music Festival

A three-day festival of funk, folk and roots music, suitable for all ages, with workshops and food stalls. Now held on Wentes Meadows near Presteigne, the event is organised by Sheep Music from Presteigne and has been held annually since 1991. Details of the latest festival appear on the site a couple of months in advance. There's also an online booking facility, a photo gallery and location details.
