Ceredigion Museum http://www.ceredigion.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=197
Ceredigion Museum is housed in the old Coliseum Theatre - a striking Edwardian building which was once one of the town's cinemas. Its website is a one page listing of visiting exhibitions for the whole year with opening times and other details.
Old Bell Museum, Montgomeryshire http://www.oldbellmuseum.org.uk
This website tells how a sixteenth century pub was turned into a local history museum by the Montgomery Civic Society. It lists opening times for the Old Bell Museum along with photos of some of the exhibits. A small site (no more than about eight pages in total), it also has a page about the local Civic Society. Powys Museums http://powysmuseums.powys.gov.uk/
A no-frills site but a handy one-stop shop for links to the county's museums. These include Brecknock Museum, Newtown Textile Museum, Llanidloes Museum, Powysland Museum, Radnorshire Museum and Mongomeryshire Museums. The Tabernacle Museum of Modern Art http://www.tabernac.dircon.co.uk
Machynlleth's MOMA Wales website details the Tabernacle's recent history and provides all the news and information you'll need about current and upcoming events and exhibitions, including details of the summer music festival. It's worth browsing through the list of artists work the museum holds in its permanent collection, some of which you can see online. In all, over 30 digital reproductions on the site provide a good visual taster for contemporary Welsh art.
