The S4C television chef has a great bilingual website crammed with recipes using some of Wales' most famous produce. The website also has a history of food in Wales, cooking terms and tips and a variety of dishes for you to try out in your own kitchen.
Organic Centre Wales, Aberystwyth

A comprehensive guide to the organic food industry in Wales, based within the University of Wales Aberystwyth. It includes information for farmers about organic standards and policy, training courses and marketing advice as well as the latest research findings. You can also find out about school visits to organic farms and browse a calendar of events.

This bilingual website was set up as a joint project between the Soil Association and Powys County Council back in 1998. It's a really easy site to navigate and includes lots of useful information including details about the county's five farmers markets, farm visits and other foodie events. There's an interactive map and search system allowing you to look for particular kinds food and you can also download short movies filmed at Llandrindo Wells Farmer Market.
Food Centre Wales

A webswite aimed primarily at the business sector, Food Centre Wales is an advice and consultancy facility offering technical services to new as well as existing food businesses. Courses on offer include lamb cutting, food hygiene and cheesemaking. The Llandysul-based centre also has processing facilites allowing local food producers to manufacture products on a small industrial scale. The Welsh Development Agency has an AgriFood section charged with promoting the nation's food and drink products. This includes staging the 'True Taste of Wales' awards - the equivalent of the Oscars for cheese, meat, drink and other produce (this year's event is on 26 November). You can also find out about other food events across Wales, pick up Welsh recipes, follow the Welsh Cheese Trail (including one in Mid Wales), read press releases and check out Welsh Food Focus - an online newsletter which puts the spotlight on different produce and producers every month.
