Our Lady of Cardigan National Shrine

During the middle ages there was a notable pilgrimage in honour of Our Lady in Cardigan. A legend describes how a statue of Mary was found by the side of the river Teifi. This website provides information about the pilgrimage and the restored shrine which is now located at the Roman Catholic Church in Cardigan on North Road.
