Builth Wells has an attractive, well laid-out website which was relaunched in August 2003. It has a real community feel with snippits of town news, a photo gallery of local events and a community notice board. There are also links to local councils and businesses as well as descriptions of walks in the area and a 'What's On' section.

Builth Wells Community Support aims to provide services that help local people to live healthy, independent lives within their community.
The website was launched in June 2007 and provides useful news and information on the various supported schemes. Information is provided on volunteering and there is a secure means of making a donation.

This website is clear and easy to use and seems to be updated on a regular basis. There are details of the new season's fixtures; a results section; player profiles and a small gallery of photographs (mainly of construction work on the club's new pavilion but also of the ground and the team).

Builth Wells is thought to have the oldest golf clubhouse in Wales and England - according to its website which has a section on the history of the club. The site also has details of the year's fixtures and information about green fees as well as an online booking form. Royal Welsh Show

Whether you're a regular visitor or planning your first visit to the Royal Welsh Show at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, then it's worth having a look first at the event's official website. It has a full list of activities across the four days and all competition results will be posted on the site daily during show week (you can also check details of previous winners dating back to 1999). Other practical information includes the location of the various car parks, camping details and a showground plan as well as a long list of useful on-site services such as banks and baby changing rooms. There's a special page for overseas visitors and a history of the Show which celebrates its centenary in 2004. When it's not hosting the Royal Welsh, the showground at Llanelwedd is used for other events - dates and details all on the website.
Builth Wells Surgery

Designed and built by one of the doctors at the Builth Wells surgery, this website underwent a revamp in the spring of 2006. It offers lots of useful information about the GP practice including surgery hours, how to order repeat prescriptions and details of local chemists. There are also online descriptions of different clinics (such as acupuncture or antenatal), photos of staff members and profiles of both the practice and the town's general hospital. Future developments include the promise of medical 'podcasts'.
Wyeside Arts Centre

A basic, run-of-the-mill online programme of events at Builth Wells' Arts Centre but quick and easy to navigate. In contrast to the brevity of the programme, there's a 1500-word history of the Arts Centre building - from its Victorian Market Hall origins, its heyday as a cinema to the birth of the present-day venue for the arts.
