Aberystwyth Arts Centre

As befits the main regional arts venue for Mid and West Wales and the largest arts centre in Wales, this website is comprehensive - detailing full listings of all the centre's shows and exhibitions. Useful information here includes how to book tickets, detail of courses and facilities available to the public, and how to get your work selected for one of the centre's four exhibition spaces. Very handy links to local, national and internatonal arts-oriented websites.
Craft-in-Wales

This is the website for Valley Arts and Crafts, which is an organisation dedicated to quality, hand-made products produced in and around Montgomeryshire and with a membership of around 70 artists and craft workers. We are based at The Lake Vyrnwy Craft Centre, Llanwyddyn and as well as producing and selling our own products we run workshops and demonstrations. The website offers links to many crafts (jewellry, pottery, metalwork and so on) and then onto individual pages showing craftwork and contact info for artists and craft workers. Glasbury Arts

Glasbury's first full season of live professional arts is now online. This website gives extensive and "at a glance" details on its diverse events and clear contact and booking information. In addition to the programme of performances, exhibitions, concerts and workshops, there is info for accommodation, eating out and local businesses too.
Llanfyllin Workhouse Gallery

The gallery at Llanfyllin Workhouse opened in November 2008 and this website includes setails about the project, a calendar, contact details and facilities.

Newtown Music Theatre Society

This is the website for the Newtown Music Theatre Society, a local performing company set up in 1979. It's not a big site (around half a dozen pages or so) but it tells you about the society's forthcoming musicals, how to book tickets and how to contact the organisation. Pictoriana

Pictoriana is a Gallery, Craft and Gift Shop in New Quay , Mid-Wales, which exhibits photographs, paintings, art and craftwork by local artists. Their website has useful links to local artists, e.g. Robert Price, and has a diary of local events.

Theatr Brycheiniog

A lively website listing details of performances, exhibitions and other activities at Brecon's Theatr Brycheiniog which opened in 1997. Browse the dropdown menu for various categories of performance or click on Diary of Events for a single page listing. You can't book tickets online but you can choose your seat and find out how to book over the phone, by post or at a local Tourist Information Centre. You can also download the theatre restaurant's tempting menu.
Theatr Hafren

The website for Newtown's Theatr Hafren opens with a welcome message from administrator Sara Cullen and a taster of the centre's main events. Other pages give more comprehensive details about what's on in both the theatre and the gallery. There are also photos of the staff and information on how to book tickets.
Theatr Mwldan

Theatr Mwldan is a lively arts centre in the middle of Cardigan. Housed in a former slaughterhouse, the building underwent extensive renovation from 2002 - 2004. Its website was relaunched in 2006 and publishes a full programme about what's on at the centre - from theatre production to films, exhibitons and more.
The Tabernacle Museum of Modern Art

Machynlleth's MOMA Wales website details the Tabernacle's recent history and provides all the news and information you'll need about current and upcoming events and exhibitions, including details of the summer music festival. It's worth browsing through the list of artists work the museum holds in its permanent collection, some of which you can see online. In all, over 30 digital reproductions on the site provide a good visual taster for contemporary Welsh art.
The Bleddfa Centre

The Bleddfa Centre near Knighton has a small gallery, the Old School Room Gallery. This website has information about the centre as well as a programme of events taking place there.
Toko

Aberystwyth-based gallery Toko's website has pictures by and information about artists who have exhibited there. The website also has informationa about upcoming classes and useful links to artists' websites.
Wyeside Arts Centre

The Wyeside is a busy arts centre in the middle of Builth Wells, housing a theatre, a cinema, gallery space and a restaurant. Use the wesite to find out what's on in each space. You can't book tickets online but you can email or phone to reserve. The site also caries an interesting article on the history of the building - from its Victorian Market Hall origins, its heyday as a cinema to the birth of the present-day venue for the arts.
