Steam Gala 2006

John Tedstone has been a volunteer on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway for more than thirty years. He sent us these photos taken during the railway's Steam Gala this September.

No 1 Earl is seen in the distance, approaching Sylfaen halt, with the spire of Castle Caereinion church in the distance. This was the last afternoon service to Welshpool on the day before the Annual Steam Gala weekend.
