We received these photos of flood waters at Welshpool shortly after they were taken by Reg Hipkiss on Wednesday 9 November 2005.

Used to fish at Heniarth etc early sixties. River iced over and I lit a fire on it at Cafronnyd. Camping under bridge and the lady in the shop just down the road used to make us lovely apple pies!

Yes!!! cannot remember exactly, autumn 2001 Heniarth corner was only passable going towards Llanfair Caereinion. Usally the Banwy is content to flood just into the surrounding fields.

Came to visit daughter at lampeter uni. Car went swimming on the rd to welshpool and had a gentle bump with citreon saxo. Our car sustained the damage started on correct side of road ended up on opposite side of road.
