I love the Antiques Roadshow and was so sorry to miss the episode from Powis Castle, as we often visit the Welshpool area. It was at Powis Castle that I saw two figurines in the Clive of India exhibition that look very similiar to some owned by my Mum. I look forward to taking them to our local Antiques Roadshow.

Watched your last 2 programmes on 1st and 8th March and found that we had seen them before. We thought the programmes with Fiona Bruce were new! Your comments would be appreciated.John & Frances Farmer

Hi Lisa from Dunedin!I love the Antiques Roadshow and saw the sketch you mention. The artist they were refering to is Robert Lenkiewicz, a controversial figure who apparently had had 12 ‘wives’ and kept the embalmed corpse of a tramp in his studio. If you google him you'll get lots of results. Hope that helps!

As usual, we enjoyed last night's screening of AR which was located at Powis Castle. During the show, a pencil sketch done in the 1970s of a young girl was examined and discussed. The artist's name sounded like Linkovich and I have tried, to no avail, to find out more information about this artist. Can you help please?

My wife and I love to watch the antiques roadshow (another 6 months and we get our free bus passes,we will be genuine antiques in our own right).Enjoyed Michael Aspels concluding comments of how Welshpool ended up with the name it has today.

In approx. year of 1980, my Father had purchased at an auction, th Last Will and Testament of a William Chinn, Feb.1728, it was witnessed by a Thomas Bergum and a Phill Gilbert, also in this document is the name Parish of Walford County, it is signed and sealed William Chinn. I have the origianl document in glass and photos of the print, any information as to the history/background or direct me to someone who could help me out in either way would be greatly appreciated.

We only saw half an hour of it here, 5.30pm to 6pm. I enjoyed it tremendously. I look forward to hearing where it is coming from, in case I have been there, or know it. An amazing show I do not miss.
