Which organisation are you involved with?
Crickhowell 21

What sort of volunteer work do you do and where?
Community Development--Crickhowell and District.

How did you get started? The community needed a group to preserve and promote the quality of life in the Crickhowell area. 12 of us self-organised, created a constitution and started working with local organisations and local authorities to access funds for various community projects.

How long have you been a volunteer?
Since 1998

Are there any special skills you need to be a volunteer?
Patience, persistence, optimism and a sense of humour.

How many hours a week/month do you give?
20 hours per week

What are the best and worst things about being a volunteer?
Best thing is seeing a project completed. Worst thing is finding people to help in various projects. Everyone seems to be working 24-7 just making a living.
