Probably on average about 10-15 hours a week.
What are the best and worst things about being a volunteer?
It's very rewarding, but it can be overwhelming sometimes.

Close, but they're "a confidential listening and information service, run by students for students", not a counselling service. They certainly don't give advice, preferring instead to help the caller reach their own conclusions. If you're after a counselling service or advice, try the aptly named Student Advice and Counselling Centre.
