My grandmother was born at Fullbrook Mill. Her grandfather had been the miller and the mill was still in her family. She later moved to London and ran a dairy. As I believe her name before marriage was Elisabeth Margaret Hughes, I suspect the Mary Hughes would have been her mother, and she may even be one of the women in the picture. I believe she had two other sisters.

Sorry I cannot contribute to any history of the above but howeverI am trying to locate a friend, Mary Spetch-Jones who was born in Bournemouth. I met her in Australia when she was living here for some time. She also had a twin. She has two sons, one Lee not sure of the other and is married to a Geoff Spetch. We lost contact about 20 years ago when she returned to the UK and would like to say hello.Any relation?

My Great grandparents came from the area and I am researching the family history.
I have an old photo of my mother's Auntie Maggie with her cousin, at a family farm in Tregaron. I'm not sure of the spelling but it sounds like Timbedu. Is there such a farm? I would be most grateful if you can identify it for me. Many thanks. Desnee
