Travel Line Cymru
If you need instant information on a route you normally don't travel then the Travel Line journey planner is especially useful as it will give you a combination of train, bus and/or coach travel. It is also bilingual.

Heart of Wales Line Travellers' Association
The Heart of Wales Line covers a distance of 121 miles from Swansea to Shrewsbury, stopping at Knighton, Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells, Llangammarch Wells and Llanwrtyd Wells in Mid Wales. You can take a short animated tour of the line on the website as well as check timetable information and view a series of photos taken along the route.

Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth Rail Passenger Association
The association campaigns for better train services and facilities, promotes use of the line and acts as a watchdog to guard its future. Its website provides information about the history of the Shrewsbury - Aberystwyth line, and lists the association's meetings where current rail issues are discussed. Anyone can join.

Train Complaints
Rail Passengers' Committee Wales is an independent consumer group to protect the interests of rail users. It monitors the performance of train and station operators and follows up complaints as well as assessing the services offered.
