Fox interactive, in a battle for supremacy to see who the superior race is, have joined the two most popular alien races.
There are three playable species in the game including the dreaded alien, the feared predator or the well-armed marines. Each race has its own specialities and disadvantages.
The Aliens are fast, agile and very slimy. They have the ability to climb along walls, on the roof jump 12 meters in the air or just rip apart anything with its sharp claws or bite off heads in one go. To finish it all, it has acidic blood so concentrated that it can melt through anything.
As well as playing as the full-grown alien, you get to play as the facehugger, which has the manoeuvrability of the adults, but it must jump on the face of a host and plant an egg. Whatever the host you implant your egg in depends what alien you play as.
The Marines have a wide range of high-tech weapons. You have grenades, assault rifles, flamethrowers, shoguns, missile launchers, and pointy sticks. With all these weapons and tools like hacking devices and blowtorches, you must try to survive to avoid being prey.
The Predator is the ultimate hunter - extremely strong, fast and proud. Their kills are not for food or to survive but for pride. Once they choose their target, they will pursue it until they have its skull as a trophy. They have huge blades on there wrists for close combat, which they exceed at with their incredible strength they also have a large variety of weapons including staffs, plasma cannons, discs and net guns to hunt their pray.
With the power to kill any alien in hand to hand and hit any target from kilometres off with pinpoint accuracy they truly are the king of hunters
Use a large arsenal of weapons and equipment to win and be the superior race. You chose your race, you chose your hero and you chose who will win.
In all, this game combines the two greatest alien monsters added with a great story combining the stories of all the main characters. With a great choice of weapons and tools and a great online and multiplayer option, Fox Interactive have made a game of legendary proportions.

The game was out before the film, the game and its expansion (on the PC) both rock. It's the film thats rubbish, compared to the game, Duel pistols rock...

The game is better than the movie, because it gives you jumps and false jumps like the early marine levels. You don't need to like the movies to play this game, it is dark and full of aliens, but when you actually play as the aliens you turn the tables on the marines, and as the predator you can kick butt! 10/10

Ac far as atmospheres go, this game is awesome and it actually makes you feel like you are in the films by providing the same sound effescts and general technical issues in said films. I was advised when i first got the game not to play it in the dark which I took with a pinch of salt......Big Mistake.
