Gwernyfed RFC- 2008 champions

Terry White sent us these photos of Talgarth's local rugby team, Gwernyfed Rugby Football Club, on the final day of 2008's successful season. In 2006-07 the club were promoted to WRU League Division 4 East and this season 2007-08 Gwernyfed have been promoted as league winners.

Boys Bach,What an achievement, a great effort by a fantastic club. Just goes to show what heights can be climbed by sheer hard work, loyalty and a fantastic supporter base,i'm sure you will be the envy of many a club.Congratulations must go to those long serving committee men, the ever "youthful" Kev Skyrme & "Big" Al Phillips, and of course the players themselves.Good on you boys I hope the celebrations continue for some time to come.Good luck for 2008/09
