The last few games for Ystrad have gone great,and I feel gutted to be watching injured from the sidelines.Hopefully I will be back as soon as and be part of this hopefully successfull season.Although we are on a high now there will be low points, we need to concentrate on not slipping up in places that we shouldn't.I'll just echo what some of the other boys have said and say its awesome to see a lot of the youth boys coming through and also some of the older heads shining.Come on the Blues.

Well we all know that you and Fera are in a higher league then Ystrad. But take a backward step and look at what the league structure is in Wales. We have beaten Hirwaun, Trebanos and Neyland all in "superior" leagues to us.
Is this the same Abercraf that couldn't field a side in the 7's this year and got smashed by everyone.
You are small fry and I don't even class you as a rival anymore. Good luck this season

I hear the boys started with a bang this year so far and I also heard it was a good game of rugby.Bbut we can't be getting carried away with that result because things like that messed us up last year. I am really gutted that I will be not here this year to watch my home town but I will be home for xmas and hopefully before the season finishes.

As an Ystrad supporter of old - its great to see the boys back. I felt that the win on Saturday was great. Hirwaun were Div 2 last year and will take their place in Div 3 next year so boys please be aware of what a win that was. This shows what we can do in this league - but lets take it game by game and keep our feet on the floor.
We can't slip up against teams like Neath Ath, Crynant and Rhigos.

Times are certainly changing at this club, and for the worst. The commitee and coaches are taking the youth players to play for the firsts, and there for the youth system here is falling apart and we are having to call off games we should be playing, if they want thier future heroes to move to other local clubs then they are going the right way about it! Thankyou.

ystrad are playing well this year with a high intensity to throw the ball around wich has improved their game and are getting results. I can see ystrad up there fighting to get in division 4 on the end of the season
