More about Pumlumon Challenge 2007...
"It's Time to Train!
If your boots were made for walking them dig them out and make some time to train...now is the time to get yourself prepared for the Pumlumon Challenge later in the year.
The hills of Pumlumon will be hosting the fourth annual challenge taking walkers and runners through just over 26 miles of tough terrain and breathtaking views, on 27 September.
In 2007 over 140 competitors took part and this year sees the event included in the Vasque Ultrarunning Championship. Places are filling up fast and there is a strict limit of 300 entrants so avoid disappointment by entering today.
The challenge is organised by Pentir Pumlumon- a community regeneration group. The event aims to highlight the Pumlumon area as a prime location to come walking and as a tourism destination. Last year competitors came from as far afield as London and the borders of Scotland.
