I agree with the point that there are some good refs and some bad ones. I think much of the problem is from fitness. Many of the refs are just not able to keep up with the pace of the matches. However we should remember this is something they do voluntarily and that we couldn't have games without these people taking the time to officiate. It would be interesting if there were any refs reading who would care to comment.

What does everyone else think of the standard of refs in the division? I think there are some excellent referees in the division, but some are an absolute disgrace. I saw one game the weekend where the ref nearly caused a riot on and off the pitch, sent a player off for no need and missed crazy fouls all for the same team surprisingly! Any views?

What a great website. Carry on the good work Lee.
Great to see fair and accurate reports too!
Rather than a biased report bigging up the bigger clubs!

What a game on Saturday for Talybont. Dolgellau 2-0 up half time after a poor first half by talybont. Second half starts off with 2 min gone dolgellau go 3-0 up. After some wise words from Mr talybont (Bryn Smith) talybont decide enough is enough. Anthony Southgate makes it 3-1 with a 40 yard shot which eventually landed in the top corner, Tod (I want new boots) Penfold then made it 3-2 with a clever turn and shot, followed by a bullet from Man of the match james fox 30 yards out which nestled nicely in the angle, 3-3. Dolgellau came back after indecisive defending and made it 4-3. Mark Kent headed into make it 4-4 followed by a last min own-goal which sealed the points for talybont.

Corris won one, lost one, should have won today. Thought we were the better team. Back to the drawing board for next week. Got some young lads coming through well doing well without a manager. Manager required a,s,a,p..
