It's great to see there is still loyalty in the game. Rumour has it that Presteigne put 7 days notice on our Barry Bellis and made him a good financial offer. Isnt it fantastic when there are all these cash incentives in local football that Barry has stayed loyal to the Dafs. Well done and thank you Barry. It's great to see some players are happy just playing for the love of the sport and their club.

I decided to go and watch trewern v guilsfield res at weekend and what a shocking performance guilsfield put up for a league 1 side i think they would be hard pushed to get a result out of the likes of kerry res, banw res and llanfair res who r all struggling in division 2, come on im sure a club with cymru alliance credentials can get a better quality reseve side than that.

Will everyone use the proper amateur message board, that way we can have a decent discussion straight away instead of waiting 3 or 4 days to get things posted, and even then not all get put on. It workes for the other leagues!!!

Pool Fella......You have told us all what we already know. Llani will win the league (everyone outside of Montgomery thinks that). Guilsfield will struggle (well thats obvious at the moment for all to see). The only thing you didnt answer was "whats happened to your club". You see you are telling everyone how bad Guilsfield are but they are above you in the league. So please tell us how bad you are!!!!!
Tue Nov 10 10:39:57 2009

The truth
pool fella..........im glad you have decided who will win the league and who will be relegated. Will you phone Bernie up and tell him there is no point carrying on with the fixtures left. I used to play for Guilsfield and i would hate to see them get relegated, They have had a tough start to the season, but they are hopefully having a new manager who is actually a mate of mine, im sure he will change things around!! but thanks for your input!

must agree with with pool fela llani are far better than people think their strength in depth is far better than monty .thought llani's number 10 was very good dont know his name thou any1 know ?.and as for llani's midfield they where a different class .good luck to llani u deserve to be where u are .
Mon Nov 9 20:59:41 2009

pool-fella
no game for us this week so went to watch guilsfield reserves, and yes they are as bad as i thought, good job they had 3 lads from first team or llani might have scored the same as monty, as for the league winners, 100% certain llani will win, far better fotballing side than monty,100% certain guilsfield bottom!!

GOD IN HEAVEN
Take the weekend off boys,,can only see a couple off grounds suitible to hold a game this weekend..Think a few of you should have a think about what your saying before you say it, At least with the team selections. Remember, I see all and you wont get in my team unless your in the top half.. P.s. Dont watch the Rugby are else

Pool Fella.....We could ask the same of your club assuming of course you follow pool. First team in bottom three with no future in LOW and ressies bottom in Amateur league. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

anyone know wats going on at guilsfield reserves? how many goals ave they let in now!!!!!!!!,manager, keepers or defence problem, how many will llani put past them on saturday, surely not as many as monty!
Wed Nov 4 09:24:45 2009

llani fan
also watched the llani game on saturday llani missed a few chances again might cost them before long fair play to the trewern lads they played well kept trying to play football all through and were the best team llani have played this season they will be a hard tesm to beat at home good luck lads
Tue Nov 3 09:54:24 2009

Kerry man
even though we commented on Llanfair being a poor outfit, i must admit a backtrack is needed! they played very well on saturday! and we struggled to break them down defensively! their No4 organised the back four and won everything thrown at him. Also the left winger caused us major problems! well done
Tue Nov 3 09:11:13 2009

went 2 watch trewern at llani on sat and was impressed wiv them as a club. they played well and seemed a good bunch of lads after the game. best pitch and set up in the league by far. good luck for rest of season sure your win it
Mon Nov 2 08:20:13 2009

Dave Welshpool
super daff i have to agree with muler you are going to finish 2nd with monty top! they play to a higher standard and all play from the heart, unlike your team do. They play for money! my team would be goodwin (monty) steve andrews (llanfair) Paul evans (monty) squirrel (llani) j bocking (monty) jake parr (gfield res) josh thomas (gfield res) tom evans (monty) bud (monty) mat winsor (wpool res) steph rowlands (abermule) that team would win division 1 but struggle in spar with not enough experience!
Fri Oct 30 09:42:54 2009

super daff
Cheers Muler, got to be in it to win it though, hows your planning for next season going since this one is over in october? Applying to go up again or you just letting the spar inspection boys make their own jokes this year!

Just heard Trewern have signed Mike Cockram from Guilsfield. What a signing that could be. also hear they're keeping hold of vincent and mike davies plus the embertons brothers after being approached by other clubs. good 2 see u doing well in league 1. only one really bad result against monty i hear(can happen to any team in this league). hope u lads keep it going all season. good luck 2 all this weekend
Wed Oct 28 10:03:14 2009

Super Daff......That squad looks good enough to finish runners-up !!!!!!!

re-super daff,a little bias i think!!, i prefer the other squad, looks a lot cheaper side to run unlike the squad you named! after all this league is only posh sunday league

football mad
Watched llani three times this season and agree witn super daff they have a very strong side have watched monty as well who are also a good side think llani will be too strong though they have a few lads who could play a much higher standard or is that because they are being paid saying that though the club have done well to get them
Tue Oct 27 15:30:07 2009

super daff
I think its hard to just pick 11 so I will pick a squad of 14. A Warwick- Llani, D Lewis- Llani, W Sherwood- Llani, A Jones- Llani, C Reynolds- Llani, C Stephens- Llani, M Savage- Llani, N Savage- Llani, G Brown- Llani, B Bellis- Llani, T Meredith- Llani, A Foulkes- Llani, J Jones- Llani, I Penri- Llani. come on you mighty daffs

As I am hoping to get back involved next season I have been taking in quite a few games and have been impressed with the following:Mark Richards (Llanfair keeper)Craig Pearce (Berriew) Jamie Bocking (Monty)Mark Williams (Meifod) Colin Reynolds (Llani) Jake Parr.(Meifod) Luke Mellor (Berriew)Luke Tanner (Monty) Matt Windsor (Welshpool) Steff Rowlands (Abermule) Greg Brown (Llani)Think that team is a mixture of youth and experience and would do well together..
Mon Oct 26 10:05:32 2009

RE: Dave Welshpool
Apart from usual players from Monty and Llani who are all very talented, I like the Trewern Centre back no5 organises everything very well and seems to win everything. Not sure of his name though, anyone know? We were expected to beat them as at home we beat them 4-3 and that score flattered them, but when we played them last week they beat us 1-0 in a good game. I also think Mule striker Stef Rowlnds is it? Is a good player. Think Meifod may sneak 3rd or 4th as we will recover from last week
Thu Oct 22 20:02:12 2009

Dave, Welshpool
first time i have been on this and find some comments interesting! Monty or Llani for the league with abermule and llanfair 3rd n 4th. any thoughts on what players are shining this season in our league!?
Wed Oct 21 09:33:31 2009

Kerry lad
I think that kerry have surprised a few teams this season..at the start we were missing players...but now we have now won 5 on the trot and beating four crosses and lanfair with perhaps the youngest team in the league. And being realistic I Know we won't win the league but we will definately push for third this season. So next year after we've all matured we can push for the league.. any one disagree?
Tue Oct 20 17:47:35 2009

Monty Lad
Great win for monty on saturday. Llanfair are going to be a tough side for a lot of teams this season and showed on saturday that they are capable of putting up a fight against anyone. Man of the match by far was the llanfair goalkeeper. some brilliant saves and unlucky with both goals by that performance and from what i have heard from other people he will keep llanfair in a lot of games this season. keep it up boys. Monty Still Unbeaten!

Banw Boy...I stand corrected on the goal front, Green has scored 3. But he has had 9 starts so is getting a regular game. You're right he could be playing Spar football as this season he was chased by Prestiegne and wait for it Banw, but chose to stay at Montgomery.
Mon Oct 19 09:35:02 2009

banw boy
funny how andrew green has bagged 8 in 10 hes scored 3 all season iv jus bin on montys website mind you gary bromley and james langford are bangin the goals in so maybe greeny aint been playing i dont no can any-one tell me??
Sun Oct 18 16:46:11 2009

Mark, Banw
It is a bit difficult to watch monty play on a saturday and play myself but i am glad he is still playing as he went unrecognised as a good forward in these leagues for long enough. But what i am surprised at is that no spar team grabbed him when the chance arose as in my opinion he would be an asset in any spar team as he is one of those old fashined forwards who takes no messing holds the ball up well and can bang goals in from anywhere.
Sun Oct 18 16:45:47 2009

Bryan (also from Welshpool)
Steve from Welshpool.....Not sure if you really were at the game or just having a wind up. Monty chose to play fringe players and left Kirkham,Hamer,Tanner,Evans,Jones,Buckley-Robins and Harris out of the starting line up. I admit that the mid-fielder that caught your eye had a great game, it was Joe Price from the first team, so he should stand out in the amateur league as did first team centre back Peate. I think the only thing that one can conclude from this game is that Montgomery probably under-estimated the Pool youngsters. Although I am a pool supporter I thought Monty had control and won more comfortably that the score suggests, especially after the substitutes were introduced. Good crowd and a good game though.
Fri Oct 16 10:51:36 2009

Monty Lad
Mark@Banw....If you watch Monty any Saturday you will see Andrew Green playing. He scored a brace against Welshpool this week to take his tally to 8 from 10 matches. Very much a Monty player and is well thought of there, both by officials and supporters. To my knowledge he hasn't missed a game this season.
Thu Oct 15 12:35:13 2009

steve in welshpool
Having watched monty against welshpool, it was clear to see that a team with any fight and a little bit of quality can cause them problems!! the two centre midfielders for welshpool were in control of the game and were full of running all night!! does anyone know anything about them as they are clearly quality players??!!
Wed Oct 14 15:08:46 2009

ex-newtown rangers
how come u banned sean butler, i can't believe u r not banging in goals at a higher level especially a lad of ur standards. you were only in league 2 for one season yet u r the one player that people wants to know where u r. thought nick would have signed u for trefonnen or u wud have looked at spar football. i.e banw, waterloo

FOOTY FAN.....Dont think Monty Man was crying about the result, he was only reporting what he had heard at the game. You obviously have a problem with Monty. They may have already gone to the FA as you suggest, and rightly so if they have grounds. I think they owe it to all the clubs that are left in the competition if they know someone has played when they shouldn't have.As a "footy fan" I would be interested to hear your views on clubs breaking the rules. Try and forget Monty for a moment, how would you feel if it happened to your club. Unfortunately you don't say who you are attached to!!
Tue Oct 13 14:24:57 2009

it's the fact you lost at home and straight away someone is on here saying builth are playing ineligible players. If they are go to the fa, don't come crying on here because a team stuck 5 past you on your home turf

Heard at the game on Saturday that Builth played an ineligable player,he had transferred from Newbridge, and had played 7 senior games for them. Dont know if anythings being done, but was told that by Builth people.

Yeah the boys played banw reserves and won ten nil, can only beat whats infront of you but the future looks bright for the mighty daffs with a 16 year old impressing and scoring one on his first team debut and a 17 year old doing well too on probably only his 3rd first team game. Better than the last time we played ten men and went out of the FAW trophy!!
Thu Oct 8 10:04:23 2009

newtown-lad
I think maybe u missed my point i was just saying with all the money your club supposedly has why aint u up graded ur changing rooms, and yes u r right i wud say u pull more fans in to watch ur games than caersws or welshpool in the league of wales, and i do say it does seem to be a very well run organised team. you played dyffryn banw res at the weekend in the cup how did that go? and i hear banw only had 10 men and half of them were lads that dont really play regular for the reserves.
Sun Oct 4 19:17:39 2009

super daff
oh yeah, sorry forgot about the cup exit i was just looking at the league table with a big fat 0 in the L column, yeah our changing rooms are by no means the best in the world but still better than alot of spar teams, everyone can sit, seperate showers and changing rooms, could be like banw where you all change together or other places where you can only change 5 at a time, but if thats all you got to pick on from my last message then good on you newtownian!!!!

Looks like the leagues over for eleven teams already fair play to four crosses for not making it a 2 horse race before the end of september also agree with super daff they get bigger gates than some the local league of wales sides so good luck to them if they can afford to pay players don't agree with it mtself and i know their manager does'nt like doing it sounds like they have a couple of good lads coming back from injury aswell llani v monty will be well worth a look '
Thu Oct 1 09:48:29 2009

Whitty
Seriously Truth. Not conceded a goal in five games. Gaz is right too, lots of hard work going on here training-wise. As for Mont and Llani they are well-run teams who deserve their position and if they wanna pay I guess its up to them. I'm thinkin Trewern might find it tough over here later in the month but hey we'll see
Thu Oct 1 09:46:01 2009

newtown-lad
I have played for many teams around in league 2, league 1 and spar and yes u have a good pitch and a nice clubhouse but the changing rooms just aint that impressive as u reckon they are there are alot better facilities as changing rooms around than yours so why brag about it, why not pay less and sort them out

I’ve not seen much football in mid Wales but went to watch Abermule vs. Llani town last weekend and what a game, the pace was unbelievable. The only thing the game lacked was an Abermule goal which would have at 1-1 made a very interesting 2nd half. Llani look a strong team throughout though and probably won’t have many tougher games than that!

Reply to the truth, when your team play at Llani I hope you are there, you will see a crowd, a decent set up, decent changing rooms, decent pitch, a club house owned by the football club, all of which points to why the "massive" amounts of cash we spend on our not so impressive (you say) but undefeated team wont run out. Oh and by the way great result again on the weekend beating last years bogey team with the "not very good" Barry Bellis scoring a screamer! Come on you mighty Daffs!!!

What a change in quality that llanfair are playing with this year, who is their keeper outstanding talent and a good find for them. I hope they keep up this run of form as they have been slated over the last couple of years, maybe just maybe they can push for promotion but i do think it will be monty and llani

Fair play to Trewern they were my tips to be bottom, I did not think they would pick up any points at all, 10 points from first 7 games is impressive for team of their size! How they doing it? Still think they will prob go down!

You clearly know nothing about four crosses players, if you think they are cocky and arrogant. Come down to a training session to watch just what hard work the lads are putting in. 6:30pm Wed night. It is more than just luck that we are second.
Thu Sep 24 16:07:12 2009

The Truth
Montgomery....They see themselves as big fish in a small pond.....TRUTH..... there players are all good JT Hughes Division 1 players, spar mid would be out of there depth. Llanidloes........ Spending ridiculous amounts on wages every week.....TRUTH..... No real quality upfront, i know you masy say Barry Belis and Tony Meredith are quality, but really they arent. You have probably the best chance of getting promotion, but when is this money going to run out and players will go elsewhere? Four crosses.........The least said about them is better, few decent young lads, but your team is plagued with cockiness and arrogance when ! you have very little to be arrogant about! UP THE TREWERN!

Seen a few players so far, monty have some cracking strikers, probably better than the ones at llani, and cheaper!!,best goalie so far has to be llanfairs, defenders,so far not so good, midfield so far has to be the young right winger for meifod but according to the paper he is on his way to guilsfield, sorry that i dont know the names of these players,

Can anyone believe 4x's start to the season!!! Shows what a good squad we have now 5 players missing and still a comfortable 3-0 win sat! looks like there are 4 top challenegers this season Monty Llany, llanfiar and 4x's maybe just maybe we can carry it on. GREEN ARMY!!!!!

Anyone been impressed by any players this season so far? What goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and strikers have had a good start to seaon?
Sun Sep 20 19:22:54 2009

Monty fan and league follower
I watched the Kerry v Monty game and think that Kerry are gunna be a team to watch in the next few years. They have a very young team and an extremely young defence but even with a young defence that is their strongest part of the team. Their oldest player in the back 5 including the keeper is 19 so they say - so everybody remember this message, I warned you!
Fri Sep 18 07:28:50 2009

Llanfair legend
With only 6 games of the season gone we are still up there with the best of them. We are still strengthening our squad as well, with the signing of Dan Gwalchmai from Newtown Res. And "apparently" Andrew Green would like to sign back for us, but that is only rumours I feel. So although Llanfair has been a laughed about club for a while now I feel it can now be turned around and we could get back up to being one of the top teams in this area. The committee is now striving to sort the pitch and asking the council why the club is not able to build changing rooms near the pitch! It remains to be seen if anyone can stop Monty or Llani though. Good luck to both.

Just like to confirm that llani have recievd the 3 footballs we sent up for our sponsorship deal this year?? after going close last year we wanted to do our part to give you that extra edge...

Super Daff
Muler, I was only stating that the mule wont win a thing not predicting we will, still it was nice to reach cup finals and not get trounced by a team from league below in a semi at our own gaff! Ring any bells!!! Yeah our lack of quality signings might let us down this season, wish bod had pulled his finger out and got some more experience out on the pitch!!!!
Mon Sep 14 07:12:26 2009

Four X's
We played at abermule last week and the pitch was in good condition, it looked like it had been rolled recently. However there were a couple of mole hills in the one corner, but apart from that it was in good nick!
Thu Sep 10 11:04:24 2009

Muler
Super Daff....The only trophies handed out to you last season had RU written on them. What makes you think it will be any different this season? Montgomery have made two great signings in Bromley and Adam Williams and you've signed...
Thu Sep 10 10:04:14 2009

League fan
Fair play to Four Crosses for starting so well this season - great win for them last weekend. Abermule is a hard place to get three points but that's more to do with the pitch than the team. Can't imagine anyone enjoying playing on that pitch.
Wed Sep 9 14:11:14 2009

Monty boy
Went to Kerry on Saturday to watch the league leaders who fielded a different team to the week before and still completely dominated Kerry and looked really dangerous going forward. Ross Harris, Andrew Green, Adam Griffin, Graham Hamer on the bench and no Tom Evans or Jamie Bockin in the squad. Llani you got no chance you haven't got the strength and depth in your squad. 3 or 4 injuries and you'll be knackered. Monty look to be getting better and better!
Tue Sep 8 10:14:19 2009

Super Daff
No trophies handed out in may in abermule, unless you get to host a cup final but that would be unlikely too!

Super Daff... No trophies handed out in September!
Mon Sep 7 14:26:45 2009

Four Crosses
Once again we've silenced our many critics with an outstanding counter attacking display away at Abermule on Saturday. Abermule are an excellent club and I thoroughly enjoyed playing at their ground. Hopefully people will start to take us seriously as you don't win five games out of six without being a good side.
Mon Sep 7 14:22:57 2009

Aberdonkey
Well Super Daff, the mule are notorious slow starters! There are a lot of new faces at the club and its taking a little longer than hoped to gel as a team! Its a marathon though and im sure we will get up and running in time to give all the teams in this league a good run for THEIR MONEY!! looking forward to playing up at yours, got Llanfair out the way atleast.
Fri Sep 4 07:21:49 2009

I was at the Four Crosses vs. Bishops Castle game on Saturday. It was evident from the 90 minutes that I watched that Bishops Castle should come with a health warning.
Wed Sep 2 11:29:36 2009

Llanfair lad
I think llani will just about win it this year, but second is up for grabs. We definitely should'v e beaten Meifod at home but luck was not on our side. And although Llani beat us away, we had 2 rugby players at centre half and were missing so expect a bit more of a game next meeting. We will suprise a lot of teams on Mount Field this season because as you all know it is a difficult pitch to play on (not quite as bad as trewern's though!!) apologies about our changing rooms though!!
Wed Sep 2 11:28:49 2009

Bishops Castle
Just a word on Four Crosses false position in the league, they're a poor side which we should've beaten if we had a bit more up top, the game was a defo 0-0 until they made a change into the second half and brought a decent lad on in midfield that changed the game, with a bit more class in our outfit we'd have won easy, Crosses expect mid table at best. And if we get new forward we could be a threat.

I played in the game on Tuesday night and thought it was a good, competitive clash. I think Monty deserved their win but I don't think it was as one sided as Monty Lad makes it out to be. I don't think the keeper did have to make a good save but we hit the post a couple of times and spurned a good few chances. I look forward to playing Llanidloes to compare what appears to be the top two sides in the league. As for the Monty crowd, it was a bit like panto season, every time a Crosses player appealed for anything near the stand there was a chorus of boos. It's all good fun though,! makes for a bit of an atmosphere and is much better than playing in a cow field with no supporters as will be the case with other teams this season.

Interesting to see the abermule fans comments about the ref last saturday. So often do you come away from a game having bossed everything and still lose by an odd goal. yes, the pen was way outside the box but ref's argument was that an initial tackle took place in the box. We had lots of oppurtunities to put 3 away but not to be! Look forward to playing you at home. Best of luck for the season lads

Monty lad , We also had the same situation last year with TNS colts, I think its very disrespectful to the home clubs who put a lot of effort into feeding all members of the away club. They should let you know in advance if they are not coming back. If it happens again i think clubs should be fined for not turning up. (Maybe Four Crosses were upset at being beaten 3-0,Who Knows??)

The league table never lies but to be fair the only reason monty are six points ahead of llani are because they have already played 2 more games its not even september yet perhaps the league secretry has forgot about the floodlights at llani end of the day points in the bag count for everything a couple of good cup runs and its going to be 4 games a week again come may monty slight favorites for the title at the moment

Monty lad, yep ok you deserved to win but 9/9 i dont think so we missed 2 very good chances at 0-0 and if they go in its a different game, your first goal was a sliced cross and the second a massive deflection so not sure your as good as you think you are but in the end you did deserve the win but not by the margin suggests. I think the league will be between yourselves and Llany so good luck. And after our end to last season to win 3 on the bounce has taken some doing so a respectable top 5 finish could well be on the cards for the crosses.

Crosses.......Don't know what game you were watching but Monty could have scored 8 or 9 quite comfortably Without reply. Can't recall our centre forward Ross Harris(Yes he was in goal) having a save to make. I thought by your results you were in a false position in the league, after Tuesday this was confirmed. So Monty are whingers eh....who were all the people surrounding the ref at the end? Oh and by the way thanks to your club for not sending one representative back for food for the second season running. It's ok we can afford to throw all your food away...

Respectable Fan
Obviously the poster "Crosses" is the gentleman in the front of the stand that took offence to his son being called "dirty" for a two footed tackle on a Montgomery player. Glad the referee agreed with everyone else in the ground and showed him the yellow card. That was the only whinging done at the game and it was by a supporter. I think Four Crosses have some good individual players but lacked any organisation. They rarely threatened only from set pieces and they were few and far between. Im sure you look forward to your team finishing above Montgomery but I'm sorry it won't be this season on Tuesday nights showing.

Not a bad game last night v Meifod, truth be known we should have lost by a few more, meifods defence a little slow but a good attacking side, les struggled a bit against meifods young no7,all in all not a bad show (will still keep watching!)

Crosses
I witnessed the Montgomery v Four Crosses game on tuesday night and have to say that Crosses deserved something from the game. I was very impressed with them and felt that the 3-0 scoreline flattered the home side to say the least. Not impressed with the attitude of Montgomery and look forward to seeing Llanidloes and Four Crosses finishing above these amateur league prima donnas.Montgomery are obviously a good footballing side but that takes a back seat when all you hear for 90mins is whinge, whinge and whinge.

Good to see Montgomery well clear at this early stage and favourites Llanidloes in a distant 6th.

Yes i did see the meifod game on sat and was very disappointed with the ref. The welsh FA go on about respect, but how can you respect someone who clearly made a wrong decision on the penalty at the end, when the foul was at least a metre outside of the box. These people make wrong decisions which cost valuble points for teams in this league. Even an apology at the end admitting he got it wrong once he had spoke to the meifod players might of been some consolation. In saying that though the mule should of won the game comfortably before all this happened, meifod looked a beaten side even at the end of the first half.

Super Daff....As Derek (Rhayader) and Byron (Caersws) have probably been snapped up by their home town clubs we will switching our attentions to Dai Phillips and John Griffiths. Yes we need 2 tea ladies as we have a crowd at Monty not a jazz band.League-admirer.....Gary Bromley is a local lad who has been with the TNS accademy as a youngster. You're right he is a talent and we are lucky to have him.

Great start from our boys this season, especially that we must have been written off by nearly everyone in the league, 3 out of 3 not playing the best either so has to be a good sign, and paying players to play at this level is a joke, no wonder so many big time charlies out there your in this league because your not good enough to play else where...

You will find Byron in caersws and derek i think is in Rhayder. 2 tea ladies, big time down there, we are lucky to get one tea girl and she has to work the bar too!

Super Daff.......We heard in Monty the deal was £6000 (Common sense will tell you why Barry stayed at Llani, £6001 probably). There are no stewards at Monty!!! and we have two tea ladies. We're off now to complete the signings of Byron Hughes and Derek Humphreys!

Colin reynolds could still get into many LOW teams, good to hear that four crosses are doing well gd bunch of lads, and great facilities.

Dont underestimate trewern as they did in league 2 and they got promoted, they have strengthened their squad and have a good close knit team there.

We heard at Llani that Monty really wanted Barry and it was a total of 3000 quoted to him! Us fans were told that Llani couldnt compete with this but it looks like Barry has decided to stay to play in front of the best supported team around instead of a tea lady and couple of stewards. And the signing of a 500 appearance LOW player in this league was quite a capture by our management team. Come on you mighty Daffs! In Bod we trust

Gaz....Do you think Monty need Barry when their new signing Gary Bromley has scored more goals in two games than Barry and Tony Meredith put together.Think Llani might rue spending all their money on a 40 year old mid-fielder...

Gaz - Four Crosses
We have made a tidy start too the season and have put together a sound squad, my prediction is that Llanidloes will win the league this year. They picked up their game towards the end of last season, and have added well to their squad. Just hope the money keeps coming in there though boys! Wouldn't like to see your weekly wage bill! Have Monty put in a bid for Barry? £1500 was mentioned by a match offcial who I was chatting to before our game last night.

Was watching the game between llanfair and meifod last night, how on earth meifod went home with a point is beyond me, they were out played and out classed by a strong llanfair team.

Some big scores over the weekend, Llani played well, looks like meifod played really well or were welshpool that bad, have they lost players since last season?? Should be a good tight race for promotion this year between Llani, Monty and maybe meifod could get up there too! What does everyone else think?
