To the rangers fan, unfortunately I wont be at rangers next season, whilst I do have the upmost respect for Leon Williams and most of the players. I joined Dyffryn Banw at the start of the season and have enjoyed my time with them in which has been a great season, however due to my military commitments I have not been able to commit 100% to Banw. And if I was to be in this country next season then the only team I would likely to be apearing for would be Banw, the manager Chris Roberts, players and fans have made me feel welcome and because of them I have returned to playing football at the top of my game the way I used to. I got a second chance with Banw and they didnt judge me for my past, which im sorry to say Rangers didnt. I am pleased that you recognise me as a great goalie, However it is very unlikely that I will be returning to rangers next season as I will be many miles away pursuing my military career. I would like to wish Rangers the best of luck in the future. Thankyou for your support.

Watched Newtown rangers play Bettws last night. It finished 3-2 to Bettws. I felt embarrassed for some of the Rangers players. They argue every decision given against them and swear at the ref all the time, and then they wonder why their getting booked. Everyone knows Eddie Pryce will book you for bad language so why do it? Bettws were nothing special but play together and keep their heads up. Some Rangers players need to grow up and get back to playing good football.

back to winning ways last weekend against guilsfield 3 2 which was pleasing to stop the recent run of bad form think now players are back from suspension i think we could finish the season on a high as long as we stick together and keep working hard could do next season investing in a couple of forwards who will score a lot more goals because we make the chances just not finishing them at the mo, maybe james mcbride i heard is a possible transfer in the summer great golie,golie they got now is good just doesnt turn up all the time come on rangers work rate needs to be sharper if you wana retain the rangers cup

The Llanfair goalkeeper was a credit to the game. Two weeks further on and I cannot speak highly enough of Guilsfield Reserves. Three nil down and they show the skill and determination to beat Llangedwyn 4-3.The last goal scored by Phil Spragg was pure poetry. Well done Guils.

U must see that the new saints are not going to be top of the league once the games in hand have been played but the young players are gaining experience and are again loving the challenge of trying to win this league and with a couple of players that have dropped down from the reserves they are looking good to maintain their good form.

I would just like to say how impressed I was with Llanfair uniteds performance in our recent cup match which we sadly lost on penalties 5-4. I think llanfair will give anyone a good game as they were 1-0 down for 85 mins but kept battling and battling until they got their equaliser. I thought aled haynes was influentual for them with some key passes and also the amount of young lads was very impressive! number 11 was always running and never stopped battling. Also their goalkeeper also a young lad of about 16/17 showed great bottle by scoring llanfair's 5th penalty and then saving our 5th!! great performance lads and good luck this season!

Have to admit the colts played some good football in the first half against Guilsfield sat and possibly could have gone in half time a goal up, but 2nd half complete different story , colts were completely outplayed in every area of the pitch, guilsfield could have won very easily if it hadnt been for colts keeper who pulled off several good saves to keep it respectable.

Newtown's goal was from a howler by Colt's keeper who went down for an easy save that skidded on the floor and it went through him, was a poor goal!! that was newtowns only shot, new saint colts could of gone into half time at least 7 goals up but their strikers had a bad spell in front of goal. Colts left winger number 11 was dangerous all first half and troubled the right back everytime he had the ball. Colts knocked the ball round well and deserved to score a good goal in the second half, to be fair they should of finished rangers off. but rangers kept going and got back to level terms. Saints were unlucky to not to win and i'm not being biased. Good luck to rangers for the rest of the season.

Alas New Saints Colts may be the best team in the League but come the end of the 2007-8 Season if you are still top you will then suffer the same fate as we did last year, ie. win the League and no promotion, due to the fact your Reserves are not allowed to be promoted so I would wager that the Reserves and the Colts are not allowed to compete in the same Division.

I was at the match against Llanidloes Town Reserves and witnessed yet another outstanding performance from the Guilsfield Reserves, a team of quality players who should have scored more than the 3 - 1 scoreline suggests. The League and cup competitions should be theirs this season if there is any justice. Well done boys, three more points in the bag.

Have to say Newtown are the worst team in this league...as for real football we will outplay any team down park hall and battle at away games, I believe that the only team that can compete with us is maybe Meifod as they are tough but not bad at football as well and deserved to beat us at their place. Another 3 points on saturday and there will be a gap opening come Monday when I next look at the table!!

I belive that quality youngesters are coming through the youth ranks at Llanfair Utd. A force to be reckoned with in the future. From what i've seen of both Llanfair teams they are looking strong this year, i particularly like the central halves in the reserve team, they have a good blend of height and pace and i can't see them conceding too many goals if the Bigman and his apprentice stay there.

It looks like the first division is wide open this year, with all the teams taking points off each other. This will make the league race a lot more interesting. The second division is a lot tougher with the new teams taking charge already.
