I feel very sorry for the people who have travelled several hours to the show only to be messed about with poor parking arrangements. I know the show has tried different methods over the years but until they improve the access and infrastucture to the area alas things will continue to remain disorganised. As a local north of the show ground our nearest car park is just outside our village. It would be quicker to walk there! We are very proud of the show but they need to improve the present system or else they will lose the good will of show folk.

We attended the whole four days without being bored! The amazing animals were a tribute to the farmers and handlers. Lots of mud still on the car but it will wash off! No problems with waiting at our car park. A beautiful and friendly location.

Bus service was fine on Weds. Got to South 3 car park just after 8am, several buses waiting.Left show about 5pm and again plenty of buses. Tractors waiting to tow cars out if necessary but we just needed small push and plenty of people were on hand to help.Really enjoyed the show despite all the mud.No OAP concession on tickets this year though. So £20 for entry then £5 for grandstand seat makes for expensive start to day!

For Alan - the Show IS in Llanelwedd - the pre 1973 county boundary is the River Wye. South of it, you're in Builth and Brecknockshire [Breconshire] - north of it is Llanelwedd, Radnorshire. There were no queues in town yesterday.

The bus service was dreadful. It took from parking at 8.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. to get into the show, and we even got off the bus and walked the last 1/4 mile as would have taken much longer!!! Leaving the show at 6.30 pm a car park attendent told us the wrong bus to get on and so we were taken to the wrong car park and had to come back to the showground and start again. This was the final straw to our day out! Need to give priority to buses as we feel we did not get our money's worth getting in the show so late.
