The highlight of my day at the Royal Welsh Show is the big, strong and magnificent creatures because I really like the Welsh Cob and Pony quite a lot indeed.

Hi' Danni sorry to tell you but you cant get a bay out of two chestnuts, if one of your horses is a liver looking chestnut, I would have it tested for possible black siver dapple, that looks very much like a liver chestnut, with the new DNA test for the Z factor modifier available, you might get a surprise.

Does any one anywhere have any pics of Leyswick Daniels because i have one of his last foals and i would really like to see pics of him. I am definitely a fan of the section D's as i have 2 and i've had them for many years.

I love Welsh cobs! I own a Welsh cob gelding and he is the sweetest most even tempered horse ever. People ask me his breeding all of the time as cobs are not well known here as they are in England and Wales. They marvel that he is so well behaved. I think he is a little lazy myself but very very loveable. I would love to be able to go to the Royal Welsh Show in the next year or two.

Wow! The Cob Stallions are not to be missed. First competed in 2005 (mares and ridden) and will now be making the long journey every year. The show was very well organised and everyone was so friendly. Can't wait for this year's show.

It was my first time to the Royal Welsh. I thought it was wonderful. I loved the Spanish horses. The Welsh Mountain and the Cob stallions were awesome. I enjoyed every part of the show and cannot wait to go this year. Well done to everyone who entered and the organisers. You cannot ask for a better day out.

I guess people are up for some talent at this show. I must come and see this show for myself and bring my stallions and see how well they do as 1 of my mares is related to welsh flyer. I am so proud and well done to everyone who entered the show. Bravo! I am hoping to see you all there next year.

It was my first time at the Royal Welsh and it was fabulous. My Welsh cob (cheshmere apollo) didn't do too well - 15th - but it was his first show and behaved impecibly and I was a very proud of him. I did see your stand but never made it as the place was just so big. Loved to watch the Section D stallions - they can certainly leave goose bumps on your skin. Can't wait for next year.

I am a huge fan of the Welsh Cob. Like many others, my highlight of the Royal Welsh is the main ring on a Wednesday afternoon and there is no other place in the world where I'd rather be at this time. Once again, standards were high at this year's show. I do feel that Forest King was robbed of the Prince of Wales Cup, though, and I'm sure many of the crowd felt the same way. That's not taking anything away from Welsh Flyer, but Forest King really is a special horse.Just out of interest, does anybody know the real name of the guy who shows year in year out at the Royal Welsh and who is the spitting image of Soham murderer Ian Huntley? I have a feeling it might be something like Keith Howard but I am so curious to find out! Any clarification will be greatly appreciated!
