MY twin brother and I lived in the Old Police House 1960 to 1964 and we went to school in Rhayader, the best times of our lives and what a wonderful area for children to grow up in. We would like to return but sadly house prices are too high

I lived in Newbridge for about a year in the 1970s.I stayed in a guest house between the town and Builth with Russell and Margaret Owens. It was one of the best times of my life.A lovely place with good, kind, people whom I have never forgotten.

Thank you for the great pictures. They bring back so many happy memories of my visits to relatives in Newbridge (Cambrian Cottage) during the late forties, fifties and early sixties. My favorite spot was the bridge over the river Wye.
