Rhayader Leisure Centre has all the facilities you'd expect to see at a local leisure centre - a multi purpose sports hall, a swimming pool and spa bath, squash courts, a fitness room, snooker and pool rooms and a solarium.

Lots of local clubs use the centre for a variety of sports - including squash, running, yoga, line dancing, badminton, short mat bowls, table tennis, swimming, basketball and snooker.

If you want to get on your bike, try one of the workouts at the new Studio Cycle where 45-minute excercise classes are held every Tuesday at 8pm and 8.50pm, and on Thursday at 8.30pm. An extra session is held on Friday at 2.10pm during term time.

The centre also runs "Kiddy Mixtures", an after school childcare scheme for children between 4 - 11yrs. The scheme runs from 3:30pm - 6:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time.

During the school holidays, "Kiddy Mixtures" is replaced by the Rhayader Playscheme, which is held every Tuesday and Thursday between 9am - 5pm for children aged 4 - 12 years.

The town's Tourist Information Centre is also located inside the building.
