| Directions: | Take the A487 north from Aberystwyth. Turn inland at Tre'r-ddol and follow the lane up the steep hill for just under 1 km |
| Parking: | There is a parking area off-road on the right. |
| Access: | Access is by permissive footpaths. Terrain is steep and rough and not suitable for limited mobility or wheelchairs. |
| Description: | Most of this area was conifer plantation that was felled in 2000. Since then it has developed into heathland with many dwarf gorse plants and heather. Young birch trees are starting to grow. There is also an area of old oak woodland which extends down to the stream. |
| What to go and see: | Spectacular flowering heather and gorse in August-September as well as views across Cors Fochno to the sea. |
