Children from Ysgol Meifod
We are having a non uniform/pyjama wearing/fancy dress day. We have also made Pudsey biscuits and are selling them for 20p each. We will be asking the staff for 50p for their biscuits! We are looking forward to our day and raising money for Children in Need.

There is a gig called Music Fusion being held at CARAD in Rhayader,Powys at 7pm tonight starring local bands and all proceeds are in aid of Children In Need!

Nia, Jodie, Josie and Sophie aged 14 from Newtown
On Saturday 11th November 2006, we completed a 14 mile three legged walk, along the canal route between Newtown and Welshpool, dressed as Pudsey Bears. It took us six hours between us we raised £300 for Children in Need.

Llanelwedd Primary School
We are having a non school uniform day where we have to pay a pound. We are going to sponsor our headteacher, Mr Eifion Jones, to dress as a O.A.P tourist in shorts, socks and sandles. Also we are holding a L (X) factor to raise money which is a pound to compete. We are selling Pudsey Bear shortbread biscuits, badges and raffle tickets to raise money.

Powis Castle/LLanfechain Primary School
We are creating natural artworks celebrating Autumn in the courtyard of Powis Castle on 17 November to raise funds for Children in Need. Pupils have been collecting leaves, conkers etc to create the artworks and learning about Andy Goldsworthy. The National Trust are hosting us and the public are welcome to come and see our work then have refreshments and visit the NT shop which are open between 11-4 o'clock on Friday and at the weekend.

RAG aber RAG, the Aberystwyth's Students Fundraising society, will be holding a school sports day for the students to battle it out at egg and spoon and tug-o-war during the day. Then, in the evening we will be holding a band night in local bar Harleys where we will be collecting those pennies!

Ysgol Pennant pupils will be enjoying fairy cakes decorated with Pudsey made by Mrs Rhian Williams the school cook.
The pupils will be holding a fancy dress disco will be held on November 17.
Have a wonderfull time at the disco and I am sure your fancy dress costumes will be fantastic and you will raise lots of money for Children in Need.
