My husband and I love the Brecon Beacons area and every summer we went camping in Cwmdu, such a nice place.

Anyone got photos of the pool table carried to the top as a fundraiser for cancer?

The first time I walk to this summit I had my snowboard with me and we had about a 1' of powder to fly back down on. What a great day , and also the first time I had ever snowboarded on fluffy snow.

I remember well the time one very cold morning in the late 1970s when I was "volunteered" to join a "March & Shoot" team whilst I was in the army, this was to make up the place of a casualty who could not continue. Unbeknown, to anybody, however, I had several pints of beer the previous evening and had somewhat of an hangover. After a while with a head like a sponge, walking up through the clouds the fuzz soon cleared from my head. What a thought was going to be a chore turned out to be a spectacular surprise. I forgot all about the 48 pound pack and other kit (well sort of).

I've just come back from Pony Trekking through these valleys and they are just so amazing, especially from horseback.
