Gwbert Cliffs

A panoramic view of the cliff path between Mwnt and Gwbert, taken in early March 2005 on an overcast day. Cardigan Island can be seen to the right, and the start of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path at Poppit is to the left.

If you love real , unspoilt places then you'll love Gwbert. The beauty is that not to many people know about it..!The surrounding area's , Mwnt (probably the best beach and scenery in the world if the sun is shining..!)and Poppit sands ,Tresaith etc etc are just must see places. This part of the world is place to see and tick the box.

For about ten years my late wife and I spent many weekends at the cliff. It is a first class hotel and the staff are also first class. A very beautiful place plenty to see and ilook forward to going back there best of luck to you

This is one of the most unspoiled, beautifulspots in the UK. In the early 1900's, the Great Western Railway mounted an advertising campaign to make it a major resort. Fortunately, the then lack of accommodation & facilities kept it totally unchanged. I overlook the sea within 5 mins walk of these views, & enjoy it every day, summer or winter.

Yes, these are definitely the cliffs at Gwbert, & The Cliff Hotel can be seen as it pans around. It is a truly beautiful place & I spent 4 years as a child living there over 45 years ago. Re-visited 3-4 years ago & am going back for a holiday at the end of August, staying at The Cliff Hotel, which was a childhood dream, to even set foot in there! Looking forward to seeing the seals again & hopefully some dolphins.

This is definitely Gwbert. I take many photographs in this area & recognise the scenery: Cardigan Island & The Cliff Hotel.

I love Gwbert. The scenery is breathtaking and there is an abundance of wildlife to see. We are always lucky enough to see seals and have often seen the dolphins along the coast.

This is not the coastal path between Mwnt and Gwbert. It is the coastal path at Ceibwr, Moylgrove. Four miles south ofCardigan and seven miles south of Mwnt.
