Lovely picture! I went there on holiday as a child with my grandparents. I remember getting into trouble as my inflatable dingy and I went way too far out at sea whilst my grandparents were waving franticly on the hillside. I'm down in Freshwater east this weekend. I may pop up!

Home. Grew up here, I miss this place. Didnt appreciate it when I was a teenager. Beautiful in the summer. Parents still live in Parcllyn. I want to retire here.

Aberporth is a lovely little resort with two sandy beaches. Pity you did not film it on a bright sunny day.It looks ten times better....honestly! You can see Cardigan Bay's bottlenose dolphins here quite frequently. Another great place to see them ...and grey seals...is Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park,[www.cardiganisland.net] at Gwbert, 3 miles south west of Aberporth. This really is a wonderful coast-line.

Just arrived back from my week's holiday. My dogs Jessie and Lottie loved it on the beach just as much as predicted. I wish I could move here permanently and this is something I may look at in the future. Already looking at booking a holiday for 2008.

Been going there since 1996, bought a static caravan & fell in love at first sight, its unspoilt natural beauty is a real credit, have now bought a bungalow in 2007 & looking forward to using it as a weekend holiday home & in my later years will retire there one day, seeing is believing & you won't believe it till you see it....

Yeh i agree, that's a wicked shot but the same again on a nice sunny day with the crystal clear water would be awesome! It would have to be done before all the tourist come back as there would be just too many people spoiling the shot otherwise. Compliments to the photographer.

Our whole family love to return to Aberporth (like a pilgrimage!) We started taking our tourer to Helyg Fach Farm 40 years ago, and have visited the area every year until Helyg Fach changed character by catering for mainly static caravans. In August 2006 we were there on the beach for a family birthday party with 8 of our 11 grandchildren. It was only a day visit but it was a tonic to sit on the beach, and reminisce on our visits over the past years.

Still the Best place on this planet, (and I've been to a few during 30 yrs in the RAF I can tell you!). Left my heart there for safe keeping when I moved away, but can never ever stay away for long. Always a welcome when I go 'Home'.

We went to a camp-site near New Quay with our touring caravan in July 2006, drove around the area, saw Aberporth, loved it! Sold our car and tourer and instead we have bought a mobile home (caravan). We walk down to the village from our campsite with our 2 dogs whenever we are there - it's absolutely gorgeous!! If we could find suitable work we would move there permanently.
