Princes' Garden Photo Tour

Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant was guest of honour at a special ceremony in Pennal Church near Machynlleth in September 2004 when the first ever bronze statue of Owain Glyndwr was unveiled. The sculpture forms part of a new Princes' Memorial Garden, dedicated to the Great Welsh Princes.

The garden was designed by Newtown landscape architect Peter Styles in the style of a monastic herb garden. It was funded by the Welsh Assembly, Gwynedd Council and the Snowdonia National Park Sustainability Fund.
