Santa Run 2004 Photos
The streets of Newtown were a sea of red on Sunday 5 December 2004 when 3,445 adults took part in the town's annual Santa Run. The organisers of the 4.5 mile charity fun set a new world record for the largest gathering of Santas in a single place.

Eight residents from Plas Cae Crwn residential home in Newtown were among those taking part in the 4.5 mile event. Their collective age was over 600 years old.
