Santa Run 2004 Photos

The streets of Newtown were a sea of red on Sunday 5 December 2004 when 3,445 adults took part in the town's annual Santa Run. The organisers of the 4.5 mile charity fun set a new world record for the largest gathering of Santas in a single place.

This group of colleagues from Focus DIY had travelled 70 miles from Crewe to take part in the Santa Run.

"Somebody mentioned the Santa Run at work and we thought it would be a good idea to take part. It's a fun event and it really gets you into the spirit of Christmas"
