Santa Run 2004 Photos
The streets of Newtown were a sea of red on Sunday 5 December 2004 when 3,445 adults took part in the town's annual Santa Run. The organisers of the 4.5 mile charity fun set a new world record for the largest gathering of Santas in a single place.

The day had begun early for the organisers who were out and about from 3am on the morning of the event, putting up barriers as well as the occasional large inflatable figure around the town.
