Santa Run 2004 Photos
The streets of Newtown were a sea of red on Sunday 5 December 2004 when 3,445 adults took part in the town's annual Santa Run. The organisers of the 4.5 mile charity fun set a new world record for the largest gathering of Santas in a single place.

First to complete the course - in 21 minutes and 6 seconds - was Matthew Gurmin from Pontllanfraith in South Wales. He was also first across the finish line last year.
