Brian F Jones was a great help to me in collating photos relating to Newtown FC in memory of their late Chairman, Keith Harding. Many photos and articles of Brian's footballing career appear on my website www.penmon.org - link to A Keith Harding Selection.

Lived in Newtown 94-96. Worked on Mochdre industrial estate at Wm Ohanlon. Loved the pubs especially Castle Vaults and The Lion. Walked into town along the Severn Path, always look for results from Latham Park.

I would like to trace Brian Jones, centre forward for Newtown F.C. in 1955-56. At that time he was an RAF National Serviceman stationed at RAF Truleigh Hill at Shoreham in Sussex. I have published a book on the history of the station and have a reunion planned for next April.
