New Quay Music Festival 2009

Dr Feelgood

Last updated: 28 September 2009

New Quay's 2009 Music Festival has been nominated in two categories for Best Small Festival Award and Best Festival Toilets in the 2009 UK Festival Awards. Festival chairman Paul Drew told us more in September 2009:

  • Check out photos of the festival in 2008...

  • "This is really important for us as it can open doors for better bands, more sponsorship and more visitors to New Quay which will be good for the town's economy. We had a terrific festival in 2009 and the town had it's busiest weekend of the year.

Voting in the first round takes place from now until 14 October 2009.

If we can get through the first round we go into the final round in late October and who knows- there could be a Welsh winner at the award cermony in November.

New Quay Festival are currently negotiating with bands for 2010 and hope to announce the line up soon. 2010 dates are 30 July,31 July and 1 August.

Headliners for the 2009 festival were Britain's premier R & B band Dr Feelgood.
