debbie howard new quay harbour wall and boat trip
just spent 4 days in quay west on holiday spotted dolphins many times on thursday 25th september 08 around the harbour for at least an hour then went on boat trip and watched the mother and calf together swimming andfeeding by fish factory we watched them for 20mins today friday 26th sept 08 observed dolphin close to harbour wall for at least an hour in the bay

I have just got back from a long weekend in Newquay, and the dolphins can be seen regularly (daily) off New Quay Pier. There are also a couple of young dolphins (Calfs) which have been spotted a few times over the weekend.

I am one of the local surfers in New Quay and have been fortunate to have shared a wave with one of the local dolphins off dolau beach, amazing experience, unfortunately this is not common as they don't tend to venture that close to shore on rough days but this particular day the sea had great off shore winds and glass like surf. More often than not I will come across a seal but they can get very territorial especially during mating season .

Yeah, hiya there!!I've been swimming with dolphins twice before, but I dont really have to travel that far coz of where I live. i live in the turks and caicos islands in the caribbean, it is lovely here, its always hot (most of the time) its always sunny, I LOVE it!! but I cant go swimming with them at the moment coz im pregnant! But i dont really mind, I've adopted a dolphin, and her name is Lulu, I love her so much!

Ever since i was a little girl it has always been a dream of mine to swim with dolhins & couldnt wait to do so. I got married july 2006 & honeymooned in cuba where i found out they ran a trip to swim with the dolphins. After a little nagging my husband ian booked the trip it was a dream come true. As we pulled up on the coach they were jumping & spinning in the air it gave me shivers we then put on our life vests & got in the sea my heart was pounding with excitment & tears of joy ran down my face. I couldn't believe I was with them. Their names were Benny & Luna. It was such an amazing expererience a feeling that can't be described & I would recommend it to any one it was a dream come true.

We saw 2 dolphins at Mwnt and also seals, Tue 14 Aug at 7.30pm 2007. Then on Thur 16 Aug at 12.30, we spotted at least 10 dolphins swimming over to Mwn. We were at Cardigan Island. Also around 1.45 we saw about 6-8 of them,it was gr8 to see them feeding and playing.

I live in Criccieth and we regularly see dolphins in the bay. They come in fairly large numbers and follow in the smaller fish to feed on and stay in the bay for quite long periods of time. Why would people want to go abroad and see them in captivity when they can see them so easily in the wild in Britain.

My wife and our 'grown-up kids' & I enjoyed some superb views of Bottlenose Dolphins, and Harbour Porpoises at Cardigan Bay last year. The cetacean boat trips usually turn up at least a handful of 'BNDs'! If you've never been on one of the many trips offered, do it soon, you won't regret it!

I love the dolphins in Cardigan Bay because dolphins are my favourite creatures!
I've been to New Quay on holiday 2 years ago and i saw dolphin leaping out in the distance near the harbour wall it's just so magical to see them free!
Later that day I went out on a boat trip and saw a dolphin fourty feet away but it didn't leap out of the water, it just stole a breath them dived deeper into the ocean.
