CAMEO

CAMEO visit to Thomas Shop, Penybont, February 2005

Last updated: 01 February 2008

Norton CAMEO is an informal social group that was set up in 2002. In November 2007 Margaret Galliers described the group:

"Set up in 2002 we now have over 50 members, and meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month in St Andrew's church hall in Presteigne.

A guest speaker or demonstrator is invited, so meetings are informative, often entertaining, as well as allowing time for refreshments and socialising.

During the summer half of the year outings are arranged, some by coach, some by shared car transport.

Visitors are always welcomed - especially anyone new to the area.

Membership of CAMEO is just £3, which has the benefit of a reduced attendance charge at meetings and reduced coach fares on outings.

To find out up to date information about events and contact details please take a look at our website listed on the right of this page."
