Freefall opening the Sunshine Stage

Last updated: 29 July 2008

Read our quick Q&A with local band Freefall who opened the Sunshine Stage on the Sunday at Borth's Square Festival in July 2008.

Who are you and where are you from?

We are Richard Davies, Tom Barry, Russell Evans, Sam Dunning, Hugh Parry and Fred Harper. Richard is from Borth and the rest are from Aberystwyth.

How long have you been together?

We've been together as we are now for three years. We used to be a rock band before the brass joined!

Where have you been playing recently?

We've played a lot locally. We played at the Machynlleth Pink Snowball event, and were at The Raffle event here two years ago.

Do you have any gigs lined up?

We're doing Shambala in Leicester and have just been asked to do the Celtic Blue Rock festival too.

How has your festival been?

We opened the Sunshine Stage today which was really good. We've just been wandering around a lot, and saw The Mighty Fuod yesterday.
