The Oxjam festival has been running in cities across the UK since 2006, but this is the first time it has come to Brecon. In fact, Brecon is the
only non-city to host one of the flagship events.
Oxjam Brecon is part of Oxfam's Here and Now campaign, raising money to help prevent suffering as a result of climate change across the world.
The festival is a month of fundraising and campaigning based around live music, culminating in a series of multi-venue events featuring hundreds of bands across the whole of Britain. Festival-goers buy one wristband which allows access to all venues and events in the host town or city.
More than 40 bands, DJs, artists and comedians will be performing in 6 venues across Brecon. Ticket information can be found on a website linked on the right hand side of this page and at all venues.
