Who's in the band?
Mark, Johnny and Lee Thomas (3 brothers)
Been going since: We have been fermenting nicely since our first gig in jan 2004 to a crowd of human beings in a venue in cardiff.
Where do you play: Here and there.
Favorite local venue: Now that we live in Cardiff our favourite venue is Clwb Ifor Bach. At home in Mid Wales it is most likely the golf club in Rhosgoch.Songs they cover: We have never done many covers, I think that is mainly my (Mark's) fault as I struggle enough with our songs let alone anyone elses! p>Recordings available: Owl ep on Boobytrap Records, Garibaldi 7" and album 'Make' on Shape Records. We also feature on a couple of compilation CDs.
Best moment so far: Playing at the Big Green Gathering on a stage powered by the wind and the sun was a great experience.
Future plans: to continue inventing music and to get more keyboards. Touring
Favourite other local bands: Seeing as we've upped-sticks for the time being to Cardiff I will have to focus on Cardiff band's I'm afraid! I am a big fan of Los Campesinos! they are very refreshing as they make music they love and enjoy it.. Others include The Victorian English Gentlemans Club, The Black Hand Laser Band, Future of the Left... Super Furry Animals, strange to call them local but some of them live in Cardiff and they have been an inspiration for many years.
Anything else we should know?
We practise on our farm in Mid Wales every week so we are still very much representing Radnorshire! We also have a nice BBC section here
