I think Montgomery will develop greatly over the next years...what with the new housing developments which I feel are likely to to disperse over a much further range than at present. And with a higher population, hopefully new residents will encourage more buisnesses to congregate in the town and create a boost in the local economy.

My wife and I have just spent a week's holiday in Montgomery and find it a most relaxing place to unwind. This is the third year running we've been there, so there must be a good reason for it. We've been so lucky there with the weather because we've been blessed with excellent weather on each occasion.

In school I have recently won the after school club competition and will have my drawing included in a national book called WIGU 'When I grow Up'I had some cool stickers as part of my prize and my mum had the chance to buy opies of the book too.

I have a silver pendent awarded to my auntie Elsie Hughes nee Poston for 2 years perfect attendance at Montgomery school in 1914 where she lived at off`as veiw Forden with4 brother`s Les, Doug, Morris, and my dad Raymond.My cousin is Elwyn Poston of Abermule he is Morris oldest son our Jeff is his younger brother who I now believe lives in Canada,as a child I spent many school holidays visiting kin folk in montgomery and had happy childhood memories.Does any one in Monty remember my family it would be nice to hear from you!

Montgomery school is doing well in all the sport tournaments thay take part in which is football,tag rugby,netball,hockey and lots of other sports too

Montgomery - a really nice town in the heart of Wales with its own flavour. I do have relatives living there and so I stay in Montgomery for some weeks nearly every year and I never rue it. Besides the great landscape and enviroment the people are very friendly and down-to-earth. A great place to relax for a "metropolisian" like me.

My family has lived here for many years. My mum is the Town Crier. Montgomery is an historic town. It is really interesting for tourists. I Love living in Montgomery because it feels safe, it is small and you know everyone. There is lots to do like walking and swimming and even making a camp in the woods.
